Information for DIAA Championship Events on May 25, 2021

 

Dover, DE (May 25, 2021) Today's events for the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) spring championships include: boys lacrosse semifinals, girls lacrosse semifinals, girls soccer D1 semifinals, softball quarterfinals, baseball quarterfinals and tennis championship action.
 
Due to weather delays yesterday, the DIAA tennis championship 3rd round will be completed today at various sites. The tennis championship semifinals will now be played tomorrow, Wednesday, May 26th and the tennis finals will be on Thursday, May 27th.
 
 
#1 Sanford will host #5 Cape Henlopen at 5pm (Livestream Link).
 
#2 Salesianum will host #3 Archmere at 7pm (Livestream Link).
 
In Baseball and Softball, the quarterfinals are today.
 
 
#1 Tatnall will host #4 Wilmington Friends at 4:30pm (Livestream Link).
 
#2 Cape Henlopen will host #3 Ursuline at 6:15pm (Livestream Link).
 
 
#1 Padua will play #4 Wilmington Charter at Abessinio Stadium at 4pm (Livestream Link)
 
#2 Appoquinimink will host #3 Smyrna at 6pm (Livestream Link).
 
Tennis Championship 3rd round action continues today; updated brackets and site information can be found on the DIAA Tennis sport page.

Spectators are encouraged to contact the host site to determine each contest’s spectator limit, livestream availability and ticket sales policy.
 
Play-In, First, Second, & Quarterfinal Rounds - $5 Students (K-12) and Adults
Semi-Final Round - $6.00 Students (K-12) and Adults
Final Round - $7.00 Students (K-12) and Adults
(*add $1.00 to ticket prices that are hosted at non-DIAA member school venues.)
