DIAA Championship Updates from May 21 & 22, 2021

Dover, DE (May 23, 2021) – The updated brackets and scores from Friday and Saturday's DIAA spring championship action can be found on the DIAA website sport pages below.
 
Congratulations to the student athletes and teams who were named DIAA Outdoor Track Champions:
 
D2 Girls: Saint Mark's High School
D2 Boys: Lake Forest High School
 
D1 Girls: Padua Academy
D1 Boys: Salesianum School
 
Unified Track Champions: Smyrna High School

Boys Lacrosse - The semifinals are set for Tuesday, May 25. #1 Sanford will host defending state champion Cape Henlopen at 5pm. #2 Salesianum will host #3 Archmere at 7pm.
 
In Baseball and Softball, the 2nd round games finished today and the quarterfinals are set for Tuesday.
 
 
 
Girls Lacrosse - The quarterfinals were played today and the semifinals are set for Tuesday, May 25. #1 Tatnall will host #4 Wilmington Friends in the first semifinal. #2 Cape Henlopen will host the second semifinal against #3 Ursuline. Cape Henlopen is seeking their 12th straight girls lacrosse state championship winning every title since 2009. Semifinal game times are TBA.
 
D1 & D2 Girls Soccer - The D1 semifinals are set for Tuesday, May 25. Defending state champion Padua will play Wilmington Charter at Abessinio Statdium. Kick off is scheduled for 4pm. In the second D1 semifinal, #2 Appoquinimink will host #3 Smyrna at 6pm.
 
In the D2 girls soccer semifinal, defending state champion Caravel will host #4 Indian River on Thursday, May 27 at 6pm. In the second D2 girls soccer semifinal, Saint Mark's will host #3 Archmere on Wednesday, May 26. Game time is TBA.
 
The DIAA tennis championship kicked off today with the first and second rounds. The updated brackets can be found on the Tennis sport page. The DIAA Tennis Championship will resume on Monday for the quarterfinals at various host sites as listed on the brackets.

Spectators are encouraged to contact the host site to determine each contest’s spectator limit, livestream availability and ticket sales policy.

Semi-Final Round - $6.00 Students (K-12) and Adults
Final Round - $7.00 Students (K-12) and Adults
