DIAA Championship Updates from May 19, 2021

Dover, DE (May 20, 2021) – In yesterday's Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) spring championship action, boys lacrosse, baseball, softball, girls lacrosse, and D2 girls soccer had teams advance onto the next round of the tournament. The updated brackets can be found on the DIAA website sport pages below.
 
Boys Lacrosse Bracket - The boys lacrosse quarterfinals are set for Saturday.
 
Baseball Bracket - The play-in round is complete and all teams moving forward play today in the 1st round.
 
Softball Bracket - Teams play today in the 1st round. The winners will go onto play in the 2nd round on Saturday.
 
Girls Lacrosse Bracket - The top four seeded teams won yesterday and will move onto the quarterfinals on Saturday. Those match ups will be finalized with the remaining 1st round games being played today.
 
D1 & D2 Girls Soccer Brackets - D2 girls soccer opened up action yesterday and the quarterfinals are set for Saturday. The D1 quarterfinals will kick off tomorrow, May 21.
 
The outdoor track preliminaries and unified track championship meet is tomorrow and will be hosted at Dover High School. All championship information and the most up to date meet schedule can be found on the Outdoor Track sport page. Two (2) spectators per student athletes will be permitted to attend the meet. The DIAA tennis championship will kick off this Saturday, 5/22 at various sites; the updated brackets can be found here on the Tennis sport page.

Spectators are encouraged to contact the host site to determine each contest’s spectator limit, livestream availability and ticket sales policy.
 
Play-In, First, Second, & Quarterfinal Rounds - $5 Students (K-12) and Adults
Semi-Final Round - $6.00 Students (K-12) and Adults
Final Round - $7.00 Students (K-12) and Adults
(*add $1.00 to ticket prices that are hosted at non-DIAA member school venues.)
