Delaware future health professionals to compete at international virtual leadership conference

HOSA-Future Health Professionals who earned medallions at a state leadership conference this spring will represent Delaware at the organization’s virtual international leadership conference in June.

Last month, Delaware HOSA, with support from Wilmington University, hosted its first annual North and South Regional Leadership Conferences. Qualifying students moved on to the 10th annual HOSA State Leadership Conference, a partnership with University of Delaware. A total of 429 middle and high school students participated in the regional and state conferences. HOSA members earning a medallion qualified for the international conference.
Delaware HOSA is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) dedicated to students who are interested in pursuing their future in a career in healthcare. Through HOSA-Future Health Professionals, members have the opportunity to participate in career focused competitive events, take part in community service work, and become leaders for the organization in their school, state, and at the international level. HOSA-Future Health Professionals incorporates curricular and co-curricular experiences to emphasize the importance of knowledge, leadership, skill development, and teamwork.
