Nomination Statement
“Daughter of Juan and Mayra Lopez, Olivia is currently ranked 3rd in her graduating class with a 4.431 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of her junior year. Olivia serves as Vice President in HOSA Future Health Professionals and earned 1st place in the HOSA Medical Math Competition during the 2018 State Leadership Conference. Olivia is also Vice President of the Empower Club, an active member of the National Honor Society, Spring Musical, and a Teen Counselor in the Safety Town Education program. In the fall, Olivia plans on majoring in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.”
Throughout my entire life, I have always been surrounded by sports. I play sports, watch sports, and want to work in the sports industry. Sports are my biggest passion and have taught me valuable lessons. Being on different teams has allowed me to realize the value of teamwork. But it’s not just teamwork, it also takes dedication to put in extra hard work. Without hustle and discipline, I would never become the good player, student, and person that I am.
