• Professional Learning Pathways

One of the key commitments of the Delaware Literacy Plan is to increase professional learning opportunities. The  Professional Learning Pathway Catalog provides descriptions of several competency based professional learning opportunities that will lead to developing deep knowledge of literacy instruction aligned to standards and grounded in science of reading (SoR) research and evidence-based, high yield instructional practices. It also provides an overview of the literacy learning pathway diagram below that demonstrates how to access various modes of competency-based professional learning opportunities that lead to high-quality differentiated professional learning based on SoR research and focused on the major components of literacy.

The audience for this catalog includes school, district and charter administrators and personnel, including teachers, principals, specialists, paraprofessionals, directors, and supervisors that support early literacy and work with elementary educators and students in Delaware schools.
