    2. Contact the feeder school to make an appointment to register.
    3. Provide all required documents at registration.
    4. Families meet with the school nurse to provide needed paperwork and share any medical needs.

    The registration appointment typically takes about 30-60 minutes. During the appointment, the school will make copies of all the documents families bring for registration.     Colonial School District [Top ↑]
    Families go to the school of interest and meet with the school secretary. Families can also register at the Kindergarten Carnival in the fall before the start of kindergarten. Students enrolled in CEEP (Colonial’s preschool program) are automatically enrolled in Colonial’s kindergarten. Registration begins fall 2018, almost a full year before the student enters kindergarten. 302-323-2700

    1. Apply via lottery. If requested, paper applications are available.
    2. If offered a spot, families fill out a registration form and the intent to enroll form to secure a spot. If there are more students than spots a lottery is conducted and a waitlist is created.

    Laurel School District [Top ↑]
    Kindergarten registration is organized for families to visit multiple stations. Each family will travel from station to station meeting with the counselor, nurse, secretary, and the transportation department. Several kindergarten teachers attend to meet and greet incoming families. Each student is assigned an appointment time to attend a screening in the month of May. During the screening students are assessed using the Speed DIAL-4. They also receive a vision screening. Registration events are April 10, 2019 and April 11, 2019 at North Lauren Early Learning Academy (4pm-7pm). Families may stop by to pick up an enrollment packet prior to these dates to begin completing the required documents. 302-875-6100

    2. Attend appointment with required documents and meet with secretaries and nurses. The student will be screened at this time.

    3. Families who are conditionally accepted through the lottery formally register anytime between February 5, 2019 to March 15, 2019.
    		 Lottery opens November 5, 2018 at 8am.

    Families come in and meet with the secretary for the registration process. During the same appointment, families review medical information with the nurse and students are developmentally screened by teachers. Registration appointments are:
