• Feedback on the 2016 Delaware Educator Preparation Program Reports

As outlined in Section 6 of Delaware Regulation 290, educator preparation programs, and their providers, were provided program reports in draft form prior to being released to the public. From there, programs had 30-calendar days to review and respond to these reports with either general comments or perceived factual errors. Any perceived factual errors raised during the 30-day review were documented and revised prior to the release of the reports. General comments (for example, on system design or metrics) were noted and the Department will continue to host discussion forums and individual program meetings about how the reports could be stronger and even more actionable.

The Delaware Department of Education has compiled an overview of this formal feedback, as well as feedback gathered through informal channels, and it is presented alongside revisions incorporated for 2016 and planned for 2018 in the Educator Preparation Program Reports Revisions & Considerations.

Below are the comments submitted through this formal process, along with their author(s).
