eLearning: Required Training
The eLearning Delaware platform is used to deliver a variety of mandatory training to the Delaware educational community, such as Child Abuse Prevention and School Bullying Prevention. Mandatory training is self-paced and successful completion of a quiz or assurance is required for awarding of credit.

Required Self-Paced Courses
Delaware educators must complete the following courses. These courses are available online, and can be accessed any time, anywhere. Register in PDMS.
Child Abuse Detection and Reporting
Required by State Code (14 DE §4123) for the protection of Delaware children. The training presentation, How to Identify and Report Child Abuse and Neglect in Delaware , was developed by the Child Protection Accountability Commission to address the mandatory reporting obligations of professionals who work with children.

School Bullying and Criminal Youth Gang Detection
Required by State Code (14 DE §4123A) for all district and charter public school employees. This includes teaching, counseling and administrative staff as well as bus drivers, cafeteria workers, custodians, and other support staff.

Suicide Prevention
Yearly training is required by State Code (14 DE §4124) in recognition of the serious problem of youth suicide in Delaware and across the nation.
