Adult Basic Education Computer Lab
  • Adult Basic Education classes provide skills that enhance an adult learner’s ability to function as a worker, a family member, and a community member. Skills are learned that apply to everyday life. ABE classes include:

    • Basic education in reading, math, and writing skills
    • Computer literacy
    • English language oral proficiency for English-as-a-Second Language classes
    • Life skill development

    Classes take place in locations that are accessible to adult learners including: libraries, public housing facilities, community service centers, schools, businesses, community colleges, and on the Internet.
