• Curriculum Development for Mathematics

The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) provide a framework for the mathematical content and practice standards that are to be addressed in each grade or course.  Each district and charter school makes appropriate decisions regarding the curriculum design and resources to be used.

The Delaware Department of Education serves as a support for districts and schools as they implement curriculum that is aligned to the Common Core State Standards. The resources below serve to provide clarification about grade-level expectations that include exemplary tools that may be used by educators and district leaders to create, evaluate, and prioritize instructional materials and curricula.
