AP Potential is a Web-based tool for finding and encouraging additional AP students. This tool uses correlations between PSAT/NMSQT scores and AP Exam results to create roster of students who may be successful in AP courses and on AP exams. AP Potential helps counselors, administrators, and teachers make sure that no student who has a likelihood of succeeding in AP is overlooked.

Score Reports help schools and individual students identify their skills, the estimates of SAT scores, and the details about their intended college majors. AP Potential Software assists schools in identifying the academic skills of each individual student and his/her ability to attend and succeed in rigorous pre-AP and AP classes. College Board workshops help schools and school systems work with AP potential software to identify students who have the potential to attend and succeed in AP classes.

Summary of Answers Report is a comprehensive overview of students’ performance. The report offers a close look at how students compare, item by item, to a comparable group of students and to the national group. This analysis assists schools in identifying whether students’ verbal, reading, writing and mathematical reasoning skills meet, exceed, or fail to meet expectations. To enhance the value of the PSAT/NMSQT, College Board workshops help schools and school systems understand and use the Summary of Answers with their staff.
