  • DIAA announces athlete award winners

    The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 DIAA/Harry Roberts – Senior Scholar Athlete awards. The award is named in recognition and memory of Dr. Harry Roberts, former superintendent of the Caesar Rodney School District who served DIAA on several committees, most notably as chair of the DIAA Sportsmanship Committee for many years.

  • State awards grants to summer, afterschool programs

    The Delaware Department of Education has awarded five new grants for afterschool and summer programs under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act. The 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) program grants are designed to provide students with enrichment activities to improve the academic success of students from Title I schools.

    Red Clay Consolidated School District’s Warner Elementary School is Delaware’s 2018 Green Ribbon award winner, becoming the state’s nominee for the national award.
