LEAs will no longer have separate Race to the Top plans – rather, each district will submit a single Success Plan, which includes activities related to and funded by Race to the Top. The Department has heard LEA feedback that the original Race to the Top Scope of Work template needed improvements. DOE is working to create a revised Success Plan template and to make refinements to the Success Plan tool based on LEA feedback. There was a focus group to solicit such feedback on Tuesday, November 9. The discussion document from that focus group is below. A draft revised template will be shared with district Chiefs on November 16, and finalized soon after.
