More than 200 Delaware middle and high school business education students participated in the National Leadership Conference of Business Professionals of America in Chicago last week. They joined more than 5,500 students, advisors and guests from throughout the United States to participate in skill and leadership based competitive events, general sessions with keynote speakers, business meetings, leadership workshops, and tours of Chicago sights and attractions.
The highlight of the April 25-29 conference was the presentation of the awards to the winners of the national contests and the presentation of the Professional Cup for outstanding state participation to the Delaware Middle Level Association. In total, the Delaware Association of Business Professionals of America was recognized as having 72 finalists, 34 top three winners and 14 first place winners in both individual and team events.
