The Delaware Association of School Administrators (DASA) is pleased to announce that Mrs. Marian L. Wolak has been chosen as Delaware’s Elementary Principal of the Year. Mrs. Wolak is principal of South Dover Elementary School which is in the Capital School District. This distinction allows Mrs. Wolak to compete at the national level for the National Distinguished Principal Award. The award is sponsored by the National Association of Elementary School Principals in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Education and in corporate sponsorship with VALIC. The program promotes educational excellence for pre-K through 8 schooling and calls attention to the fundamental importance of the school principal.
