State Improvement Grant (SIG) is funded through the U.S. Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). SIG is a 5 year project focused on literacy and reading skills pre-K through 12^th grade for all students; targeting students with less significant disabilities. An additional goal of the SIG is to increase students’ placement in the general education classroom and increase students’ access to the general education curriculum.
