ACM Program Removals for Delaware Residents
1. The University of Delaware now offers a B.S. in Marine Science (Marine Biology Concentration). Delaware will no longer certify students for the ACM in the following programs after the spring 2013 semester.
- B.S. Marine Biology, Auburn University
- B.S. Marine Science, University of Alabama
- B.S. Marine Biology, University of North Alabama
- B.S. Marine Biology, Savannah State University
- B.S. Marine Science, Coastal Carolina University
- B.S. Marine Science, University of South Carolina – Columbia
- B.S. Biology (Marine Biology Concentration), Old Dominion University
2. The University of Delaware now offers a Ph.D. in Nursing. Delaware will no longer certify students for the ACM in the following programs after the spring 2013 semester:
- Ph.D. Nursing, University of Arkansas for the Medical Sciences
- Ph.D. Nursing, University of Maryland, Baltimore
- Ph.D. Nursing, Medical University of South Carolina (ACM/Electronic Campus)
- Ph.D. Nursing, University of Tennessee, Knoxville
3. The following programs at the University of Maryland, College Park, will not be available in the ACM to Delaware residents after the spring 2013 semester. as both majors are offered at the University of Delaware:
- B.A. Chinese Language and Literature
- B.M. Music Performance (Voice)
4. The University of Delaware now offers a B.A. in Environmental Studies (Environment, Society and Sustainability Concentration) and a B.A. in Environmental Studies (Environmental Law, Policy and Politics Concentration. Delaware residents will not be certified for the ACM in the following programs at the University of Maryland, College Park, after the fall 2011 semester:
- B.S. Environmental Sciences and Policy (Society and Environmental Issues Concentration)
- B.S. Environmental Sciences and Policy (Politics and Policy Concentration)
5. The University of Delaware now offers a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering program and plans to seek ABET accreditation following the first graduating class, or after Spring 2014. Delaware residents will continue to be certified for eligible ACM ABET-accredited biomedical engineering programs until the UD program is ABET-accredited.
