Delaware River and Bay Authority Scholars Program


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Dependent child of a permanent employee of the DRBA
  • High school senior planning to attend college full-time in a degree program at an accredited college
  • Must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Awards:

  • $5,000 Academic Excellence Scholarship, one renewable award/year
  • $3,000 Community Service-Leadership Scholarship, one renewable award/year
  • $3,000 Merit Assistance Scholarship, one renewable award/year

Criteria:
Applications are judged on basis of academics, leadership, and/or financial need.

Deadlines:
  • All application materials must be received by February 15, 2010.
  • Applicants must file the FAFSA prior to February 15, 2010, and send a copy of their completed FAFSA with their application. The FAFSA can be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov after January 1, 2010.
