Several questions reference the Gun-Free School Zones Act have been raised. The federal reporting mandate remains in effect. I have listed the attachments sent to me from the U.S. Attorney's Office and the response to my question of constitutionality, which has been raised by schools. The U.S. Attorney's Office responded, "A prior version of the statute was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, but Congress amended the law to fix the problems".
