The purpose of the Delaware New School Nurse Mentoring Program is to provide new school nurses with support that is shaped by their professional needs. The program is structured similarly to the Delaware New Teacher Mentoring Program and requires that new school nurses who are on an initial license must complete the requirements for each of four experiences (as listed below) in order to obtain a continuing license.
