The National Title I Distinguished School Program is a joint project of the U. S. Department of Education and the National Association of State Title I Directors. Individual states submit schools to the National Association of State Title I Directors. Schools across the nation have been named Distinguished Title I Schools. These schools have held students to high standards and are shining examples of educators who take seriously their charge to improve achievement for all students.
