- Poetry Outloud
- Delaware Poetry Outloud Information Website - Register your school to participate in Poetry Out Loud! Find out about past winner. Registered teachers will receive a packet of materials—dynamic teaching tools that will kindle students' excitement about literature and poetry recitation. The teaching materials include sample lesson plans, audio CDs of poets reciting their own famous works, publicity materials for school competitions, and a DVD of winning student performances from the 2012 Poetry Out Loud National Finals. Registrations must be received by September 28, 2012 for the 2013 competition. For more information about registration, contact Allyson Good at allyson.poetryoutloud@gmail.com
- National Poetry Outloud Website - The National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation have parnered with the U.S. state arts agencies to support Poetry Out Loud, a contest that encourages the nation's youth to learn abou great poetry through memorization and recitation. This program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about their literary heritage.
