2.0 Private School - A private school shall mean a school having any or all of grades kindergarten through twelve, operating under a board of trustees and maintaining a faculty and plant which are properly supervised and shall be interpreted further to include an accredited and/or approved college or university.
- Private School Registration form - NOTE: This form should be used if you are going to operate a private school as cited in Section 2703, Title 14 of the Delaware Code. The private school will provide enrollment and attendance information to the Department of Education for all enrolled students on forms that will be provided at the appropriate times.
The Delaware Code requires all nonpublic schools to register with the Department of Education. You must report your enrollment as of September 30 to us in October and attendance every July. Once you have registered with us, a school code will be issued and you will be placed on our database, which in turn ensures that the proper forms are sent to you in the fall and spring.
