Strategies to Celebrate Diversity
- Celebrate the uniqueness of all students and families.
- Participate in professional development concerning diversity such as Creating A Culturally Responsive Classroom, Sexual Minority Youth and National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI).
- Review and monitor disproportionality data to guide improved practice.
- Provide physical activities from various cultures.
- Create school breakfast/lunch menus to be inclusive of all cultures.
- Create learning environments that are inclusive.
- Integrate the Student Success Plans (SSP) program to provide a wide range of tools to enhance the experience for students, their families and aid educators in guiding students.
